Methodology and sources

Price Drop Deadline lists post-purchase price adjustment policies that U.S. retailers have published. We do not invent windows, and we do not repeat blog posts as facts.

Evidence levels

• Official page read: we opened the store's own policy page and read the text on October 17, 2026.
• Official page, excerpt only: the store's page blocked or did not render for our tools. The details come from a search-engine excerpt of that official page. Confirm on the page.
• Shopper report (unconfirmed): not found on an official page we could read; reported by shoppers. Treat as unconfirmed.

What we do not do

• We do not guess windows or exclusions. If a store publishes none, we say we did not find one.
• We do not provide legal or financial advice.
• We do not collect your purchase data; the calculator runs in your browser.

Keeping it current

Each store entry shows a last-verified date. We re-check source links on a schedule and re-read policies periodically. Retailers change terms without notice, especially around the holidays, so confirm before relying on a deadline. A way to submit corrections will be added soon.
